Change Management

The main objective of a Management of Change (MoC) process is for tracking and control of variations and to issue/modify schedule or budget variations which impact project costs during the course of project. Changes can be due to scope changes, variations and others as per client requirements or authorised/nominated certifying agencies. Changes can also be due to a deviation request from a contractor.

EirQual can provide you the skills and resources to establish a Management of Change (MoC) Procedure.

The aim of this MOC procedure is to provide clear guidelines and practical tools to:

  • Effectively identify all known and unknown changes that may have the potential to adversely impact the basis of design before the change(s) are made
  • Evaluate the impact of the identified change on design using the appropriate risk assessment technique(s) e.g Hazid, Hazop, etc
  • Effectively identify all known and unknown changes that may have the potential to adversely impact the HSE and productivity of the operation(s) before the change(s) are made
  • Evaluate the impact of the identified change on operations using the appropriate risk assessment technique(s)
  • Apply control measures to ensure the risk(s) from the change(s) are reduced to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP)
  • Manage the closure of each change and review on a regular basis
